Welcome to the interactive map of the site of Karanis. Below you will find a map showing the B Level of the site. The E and F Levels of the site are available here. To the right of the map is the area around the Southern Temple of Pneopheros and Petesouchos, dated by the excavators to the early years of the settlement.
The map can be zoomed by using the + and - arrows. Dragging around the map pans the view. The colored dots (more are visible as you zoom in) indicate the locations of finds. Clicking on the dots creates a pop up which allows further exploration.
